Well, we didn’t have to worry. These folks were great. They did what they said they would do for the price we were quoted and were always on time. They packed us quickly but carefully and as we are unpacking, I can see there is a real art to packing and it takes a professional. I had no idea the skill involved in packing and boxing items. I think the driver who did the loading had a computer for a brain. He fit things in like a jigsaw puzzle with not a bit of wasted space but in the right order of heavy to light and took care with fragile items. I know I’m using a lot of words here. But it was fascinating. And the crew was professional and polite. I’d almost do it again. But not really- moving is hard. Yet, if we do move again, this is the company we will use. read less

Keith came to our home and gave us a fair and BINDING QUOTE!On 11/14/19, Joe, Daniel and Ryan showed up 2 minutes early of our scheduled 8:00 a.m pack and pickup. They immediately got to work after doing a walk through with us just to make sure that we were all on the same page with what was to be packed and trucked. Every small item (lots of stemware & chinaware) was packed with the upmost care by Joe. I've never seen so much wrapping used before. Daniel and Ryan were equally careful when wrapping all of our furniture either in moving blankets or plastic wrap as needed. The following day they arrived at our destination in Las Vegas. With the same care previously exercised Daniel and Ryan unloaded and placed all of our belongings as I merely stood by and directed. Everything arrived without any damage or marks!Additionally, all of our zillion boxes were neatly placed in our garage with the ones we would need access to upfront. I was originally scheduled for 12-1pm with a 2 man crew, but due to the previous customer taking longer than expected, they arrived at 1:15. They added another mover to compensate me for my lost time. Very fair. Those three gentleman were able to move my heavy couch and full-sized elliptical machine down 8 flights of stairs without any trouble. Everything was padded for protection, including the walls and doorways
The also set everything up in the new house where I wanted to go. read less

They responded with a quote and had all my stuff out of my place by 9:30am the next morning! Not only that, but they were super nice, professional, insanely fast and gave me the contact information for movers they know in the city that I'm moving to in California. The price was totally reasonable and even though they could have charged me for moving other things in addition to the furniture that was on the quote, since they hustled and finished in the expected time it was no extra charge. That kind of integrity in a business is a huge deal. The people at this company are pros and it shows. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Dignity Movers. read less

They allow you to be the boss for the whole duration of the move (my wife was definitely the boss at that time). She told the guys that she wanted to keep the move to the minimum 3 hours, which they responded to and had no objections. I didn't think they could do it, but lo and behold, they cleared a 1200 sq foot townhome full of stuff and moved to across town to our beautiful new home in 3 hours 10 minutes! It all started when I called to receive a quote. It was a great experience from the get go because they were thorough and asked questions about my move. When I called to finally schedule my move, I have given them an update on what needs to be moved and again, they were helpful, patient, and understanding (Im indecisive). The day before it was time to move, I had an emergency come up and had to quickly change my schedule. They were quick to accommodate my availability the soonest they can. The day of the move, they had some issues with their schedule but I received ample notice of their ETA and was kept in the loop. The movers were helpful, courteous, and mindful of my items. In the end, they even asked if they can help me shift some of the furnitures in the house. Such a great experience. Highly recommend and would definitely use them again! read less

They took their time and wrapped every furniture item for protection. They also protected both moving locations by wrapping the door frames and placing runners on the floor. I am so glad I decided to book this company based upon previous Yelp ratings (under their prior name Dignity Moving)!!! They took the stress out of a quick move at a reasonable price!!! read less

I had a couple of unusually heavy pieces, but Maurice and Marc handled things like the champs that they are.They packed the truck carefully, quickly and thoroughly. It was a 160 mile drive and 106 degrees at out destination city. Unfortunately, I don't yet have a refrigerator at the new place, so I couldn't offer refreshment, but my new neighbors stepped up and gave us each a cold bottle of water. The team unloaded and put things in place for me. I noticed that Marc efficiently folded each moving blanket and put them nicely in a pile after unwrapping the pieces. Very organized and efficient. Maurice shared stories of his life and family and because we each grew up in neighboring cities I greatly appreciated the walk down memory lane.
After the move, when I spoke with J.R. to finalize everything I learned that the name Mentors refers to the mission of orienting and mentoring Foster Kids for life once they leave the system. That is huge in my book! Although I didn't know this at the time of hiring them, A company which is dedicated to taking care of one another, especially those most vulnerable gets my vote and my dollars. This move was a bit concerning to me as the furniture was very expensive, fragile, and being moved to storage. The crew worked well with my elderly parents, very patient, and understanding of their concerns. They came in with 2 trucks and 5-6 movers and while it took a bit longer, my parents were very pleased with the quality of their work and handling of expensive & fragile furniture!
