SLO electric is provided by Pacific Gas, and Electric, or PG & E. This company offers a few different options where you’ll choose your rate. Time of use plans give you a lower rate if you use electricity during non-peak hours. Their tiered rate plan is best for those who use a lot of electricity but use it mostly during peak hours (4PM-9PM). The home charging plan is for those who have an electric vehicle, and it’s a tiered pricing plan as well. Finally, the EV-B plan is for those who have electric vehicles and will charge the vehicle at night for most affordability. You can see a comparison chart of rate plans here.
