Among the largest Christian churches in Phoenix, the Dream City Church was established by Tommy Barnett in 2006 and was then passed to his son, current Senior Pastor Luke Barnett. One of the largest Orthodox Christian churches in Phoenix was started in 1985 by Senior Pastor Brian T. Anderson. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest Phoenix churches.

10. Christ’s Church of the Valley
Known by its members as CCV, the local Christ’s Church of the Valley led by Senior Pastor Ashley Wooldridge was founded back in 1982 and has grown into one of the largest churches in Phoenix. Pastors teach their congregations about how to resolve real-life issues by reading Bible stories and verses as a means of strengthening their ability to cope.
